The engine treats the item as a rectangular box. For openings it checks every dimension permutation and rotates the rectangular face. For right-angle turns it uses an around-the-corner formula adjusted for item thickness.
What to measure
- The maximum width, depth and height of the carried box.
- The actual clear opening of every doorway with the leaf fully open.
- Corridor widths, turns, landings and the lowest overhead clearance.
- Handles, radiators, rails, intercoms and other protrusions.
How to make the decision
A result with clearance is a starting point. A tight result requires disassembly, re-measurement or confirmation by the delivery team. A negative result identifies the checkpoint that needs changing or avoiding.

Calculations assume a rigid rectangular box. A soft mattress can flex, while an irregular sofa may need another rotation method. Dimensions alone cannot determine weight handling or damage risk.
